Women in My Poems

Come in, come in,
Look down into the abyss of my inkwell
See for yourself what you did

In these depths I illuminate
Your bright lips, your silky hearts
And the stunning reaches of your diamond looks

The doubters amongst you look within you
And seeing nothing, believe nothing of my words
Thinking I am in a thrall, which will pass with time

Strangest thing! This indifference you practice
First it crushed me, then I saw a shade
That devil of attachment, appeared to be leaving me

I looked up and saw how my black ink turned into your red ink
Gushing from the torments of your bloody hearts
Come in, come in, let me put my body against that rush
And take you on a journey on the runway of my remaining days.
